Volare is a rare single owner vessel and she definitely shows pride of ownership. The current owners had her built to their specifications, and actually traveled to the Chung Hua Boat Company in Taiwan in 1982 to oversee her progress. She was designed by the well-known Ed Monk Jr. who designed many trawlers for multiple boat building companies including Roughwater, Nordlund and Ocean Alexander to name only a few.
Volare has been treated well through the years and has the records to prove it. She has upper and lower helm stations, a spacious salon with galley up, master stateroom with walkaround queen and a second stateroom with 2 bunks. She has two heads with a shower/tub combo separating them. The upper helm station is surrounded by a large sundeck area with room for many friends and family. Her 800 gallons of fuel tankage means she has an effective range of approximately 560 nautical miles at 9-10 knots; perfect for Mexico and beyond!
