1991 Island Gypsy Europa
PRICE REDUCED.... TIME TO SELL..... If you are not familiar with the Island Gypsy brand, think GRAND BANKS. It was designed and built by Kong and Halvorsen of Grand Banks fame. The boat is solid fiberglass with hard chines aft, a full-length keel, and a skeg- mounted rudder for protection of the running gear. The roomy and generous interior of the Island Gypsy is arranged in the conventional manner with two staterooms forward (bunks in the bow and captain’s quarters to starboard), head with separate standup shower, deckhouse galley, and a convertible salon settee. All of the woodwork is teak, and a deck access door is located next to the lower helm station. The aft deck is roomy enough for a couple of chairs. Additional features include teak decks, bow thruster, bronze hardware, a bright, clean, well-arranged engineroom, a teak swim platform, and a bow pulpit. New LP, new flybridge cushions.
This boat was re-powered in 2002 with the iconic John Deere marine diesel, with 2450hrs. Not at all a project boat. Clean and turnkey ready to provide lots of fun and enjoyment. It holds 450 gal of fuel; 100 gal of fresh water. There is no flow meter so no accurate consumption numbers. But owner said that boat was brought down from Seattle on one tank of fuel and burns around 6-8 gal to Catalina. Boat comes with dinghy and new Yamaha outboard. Additional equipment/inventory include 2 8D house batteries; Bruce style anchor; windless.
